The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will continue to build on its successful partnership with the Spanish ONCE Foundation and the European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT). Accessible travel advocates in Germany, together with the German Aviation Association have updated the recommendations on accessible air travel. The only difference to the first edition is the addition of the respective Special Service Request (SSR) Codes to each disability to avoid misunderstandings.
In the framework of the "PRM-Dialogue" which is organized by the German Aviation Association, a set of recommendations for (not frequently flying) passengers was developed. The German version was published in 2019 and the English version in March 2021.
