  • ACCESSible Tourism for Outdoor and Urban Routes

    ACCESSTOUR is an acronym expressing accessible tourism in a short way. Accessible tourism could be considered disadvantaged in comparison with more traditional mass tourism. In the last years accessible tourism has become synonym of high quality care for persons with special needs and accessible destinations. The project aims at marking out the special qualities of accessibility implemented with effective and user friendly services.

  • Cosy 4 You

    The project "Cosy for You", supported by a web site and a mobile application (C4Y mobile app.) consists in the dissemination of "knowledge" of places, travel goods and services accessible at 360° in the Campania Region, in the South of Italy, starting with five different destinations: Napoli, Pozzuoli and "Campi Flegrei", Sorrento and the Sorrentine peninsula, Vesuvius area and Benevento, including 14 itineraries. It is proposed as best practice to other public and private institutions active in tourism in Italy and worldwide.

  • Greenways4tour Project

    The project fits in with the call to “promote transnational thematic tourism” products in the European Union to develop sustainable tourism. For the first time, greenways have been included in the grant programme of the European Commission’s General Directorate of Tourism (2011), indicating that they are an area regarded to have great potential and value for the development of sustainable tourism within Europe.

    ENAT member, Cresaçor - Cooperativa Regional de Economia Solidária - has created a new website www.azoresforall.com to promote leisure activities for tourists with special needs. Soon we will also offer cultural tours, tours with a social component, as well as information on accessibility in the Azores.

    European Greenways Association (EGWA) announces the call for candidacies for the 6th European Greenways Award (EGA), 2013, which is organized by the EGWA in cooperation with the Comunidade Intermunicipal da Regiao Dao-Lafoes and with the support of the DG of Enterprise and Industry of the European Commission.
