Partners of the EU-funded ERASMUS+ project, NEWSCAT have curated a set of course materials aimed at increasing the knowledge, skills and competences of tourism professionals to cater for the diverse requirements of visitors with disabilities, seniors, families and others with specific access requirements.

With the growing demand for high quality tourism services that are well suited to the needs of visitors of all ages and abilities, tourism professionals need to be well prepared in disability awareness and accessibility, so as to design and deliver high quality services to all their customers. With careful planning and attention to detail, tourism offers can be  customised and personalised to meet the tourist's requirements and give every guest a unique and memorable experience.

Eight organisations in Belgium, Bulgaria, Italy, Latvia and Spain, working in the vocational education and training, accessibility and tourism sectors came together to develop a series of training materials which are available as downloadable documents.
