Programme

a. Overall direction
- The Forum aims to focus on the global trend of spreading-out touristification in all over the region without distinction of tourist attractions or non-tourist attractions.
- It also seeks to establish a virtuous circle of distributing wealth back to the local community by utilising them as the suppliers of the tourism industry.

b. The 1st session
- Discussion on tourism policies to actualise ‘the accessible community-based tourism for all’. It is to build the structure of tourism accessibility that can overcome any physical limitation, disabilities and age difference.
- It will focus on the viewpoints of both suppliers, the local community, and consumers, the tourists.

c. The 2nd session
- Highlighting on the case studies of community-based tourism where a local community leads the tourism within its residential area, a village, to retrieve any generated income to its community.
- Local and international experts of community-based tourism will join the session and will deliver each of their 10-minute presentations. Following to that, a discussion will take place in a conversational format.

Speakers

Speakers include international experts from the UN World Tourism Organisation, the European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT), public tourism bodies, NGOs, universities and businesses in Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, Portugal and Spain.

Speakers from the Republic of Korea include senior leaders and representatives of Government Ministries, associations, academia and the tourism sector.
