AAA has issued a series of 6 books entitled "AAA Barrier-Free Travel" which are specifically aimed at travelers with disabilities.
These guides address facility specifications for lodging, restaurants and tourist attractions in New York, Washington D.C., California, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Central Florida.
Details include the heights of bed frames, sinks, desks, coin slots on public phones, distances between a bed and the wall, and the availability of Braille menus and TDD phone kits.
