In partnership with MMGY Travel Intelligence, ENAT announces the 2025 Survey of European Travellers with Mobility Disabilities.
Following a study of American disabled travellers' experiences, preferences and spending power conducted by MMGY Travel Intelligence in 2022, ENAT and partners are cooperating with MMGY to conduct a similar survey in Europe.
We want to understand the experiences, challenges, and expectations of travellers with disabilities in Europe, focusing on five major markets: UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.
The survey is open to travellers with physical disabilities from these five countries, as well as their companions and carers.
It takes about 20 minutes to complete the survey, and your responses will be completely confidential.
The Survey runs from the 17th of March till the 4th of April 2025.

About the Survey
It is over 10 years since the European Commission financed studies on the demand for and supply of accessible tourism services in Europe.
Reports on these studies were presented at the landmark conference, "Mind the Accessibility Gap", held in Brussels in 2014.
Since then, only a few, smaller-scale studies have been conducted, leaving a large gap in our knowledge about the market size and the travel demands and preferences of European tourists with disabilities and others with access requirements such as seniors, families with small children and those with temporary or long-term health conditions.
This major survey of persons with disabilties and their companions or carers will help improve accessible travel options across Europe by providing a comprehensive report on the five largest tourism markets in Europe: UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. As such, the report will provide a new "baseline" for understanding the needs of the market that requires good accessibility when travelling.
The MMGY Travel Intelligence Study Report 2025 will be offered for sale as a resource for tourism and travel enterprises, industry bodies and public authorities.
By agreement with MMGY, any profit from sales of the report, after costs have been covered, will be donated to ENAT asbl. in recognition of the non-profit association's commitment to use such funds to conduct research and disseminate knowledge on accessible tourism to the public, private and NGO sectors engaged in tourism and travel.
