UN Tourism Recommendations for Key Players in the Transportation Sector

UN Tourism, ONCE Foundation and UNE released in November 2024 a set of recommendations for the transportation sector to implement the ISO Standard 21902:2021 on Tourism for All.
This UN Tourism guide offers strategic and actionable recommendations to provide accessible travel experiences, meeting the specific access requirements of all customers.
Other collaborators who assisted in the production of the guide: European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Union of Railways (UIC), the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
These recommendations aim to improve transport infrastructure, facilities, and services, to ensure a safe, reliable, and dignified travel experience for passengers with disabilities.
