Discapnet Awards for Accessible Technologies / Premios Discapnet a las Tecnologías Accesibles

The 5th edition "Discapnet Awards for Accessible Technologies", aims to recognize the contribution of people and entities to the quality of life of people with disabilities.

The awards also aim to raise consciousness about the importance of Universal Accessibility in order to advance their social inclusion.

Following the success of previous editions, the Discapnet Awards are now accepting international submissions. In order to reach the maximum number of participants, we are sending you information about the awards and humbly requesting your help in disseminating it.

The award categories in this 5th edition are:

  • Category A. Award for ICT service or product designed to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities. To qualify for this award it is imperative that the products or services submitted are available in the market.
  • Category B. Award for the person, company and organization with outstanding trajectory in improving accessibility to technology.
  • Category C. Award for entrepreneurial project with social impact to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities through technology.

Categories A and B winners will receive a prize of 5,000 euros. And category C winner will receive 20,000 euros.

Application deadline is March 15, 2019.
