New Social Media and new forms of entrepreneurship are emerging, placing greater emphasis on innovation and the creation of applications that rely on mobile platforms and online tourism products. This conference aims to examine the new phenomena, challenges and opportunities in the rapidly changing field of tourism.

This conference aims to examine the new phenomena, challenges and opportunities in the rapidly changing field of tourism.
The majority of presentations will be in Greek language.
On the second day of the event, a session will be dedicated to Athens City Break Tourism, with presentations by, amongst others:
- Ms. Elpida Lekka, Senior Project Manager, City of Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau
- Mr. Ivor Ambrose, Managing Director, European Network for Accessible Tourism
- Ms. Efi Kalampoukidou, President, European and Pan-Hellenic Tourist Guides Associations and
- Dr. Dimitria Papadopoulou, University Lecturer and Licensed Tourist Guide.
