Conference on Challenges and Opportunities for Local and Regional Authorities in Tourism for All

Östersund, Sweden. 26 and 27 May 2011. The International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) in partnership with the Jämtland Region is organising a conference on “Tourism for All” with B2B meetings and meetings between regions and organisations to discuss projects and possible partnerships.

The International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) in partnership with the Jämtland Region is organising a conference on “Tourism for All”. that will take place in Östersund, Sweden on 26 to 27 May 2011.

The ISTO Network of Local and Regional Authorities will hold its plenary meeting on this occasion.

There will be also B2B-meetings with individual meetings between regions/organisations on their actions and projects and on possible partnerships.

The Conference will discuss the meaning of Social Tourism and will present various examples of best practices allowing taking a look at how different regions in Europe work in order to make Tourism available for all.
