The Flag of Towns and Cities for All

28/05/2008 | 0 comments

Image of the Towns and Cities for All FlagThe "Flag of Towns and Cities for All" offers to municipalities the opportunity to join a growing group of towns and cities that have committed themselves to improve ther public space, their facilities, transport, buildings and services, improving the life quality of their citizens and visitors.

As a public image of the commitment assumed by the municipal government the "Design for All Foundation" awards every year the towns and cities involved in the project with the "Flag of Towns and Cities for All", a yearly prize to acknowledge the quality of actions put into practice and the commitment for future actions.

The scheme has been developed in Spain and Portugal, with growing international participation of companies, public organisations and NGOs.

Further information about the scheme is available from the website of the
Design for All Foundation.

The downloadable documents in English are: a text-only version revised in 2008 and an illustrated brochure.
