National Accessible Scheme, Scotland

VisitScotland operates a national accessible scheme that identifies, acknowledges and promotes those accommodation establishments and attractions that meet the needs of visitors with disabilities. The access inspection, which also covers camping and caravan parks, is made during the annual Quality Assurance (QA) Scheme visit. Establishments are reassessed annually or biannually in the case of visitor attractions. The access category is subject to the same conditions as that of the establishment's Quality Assurance award. Inspection is free for establishments which are members of the Quality Assurance Scheme. Language(s): EN
