The ELMA project in Finland is seeking partners for a proposal in response to the European Commission Directorate General Education and Training call for the Life Long Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci.

Under the Leonardo da Vinci - Transfer of Innovation category, the ELMA project along with the National Authorities are proposing an educational programme in areas of Accessible Tourism, Accessible construction and adaptations, and Adapted Physical Activity/ sport development.

These programmes will be aimed at training / bringing awareness to both present day professionals and future professionals in their respective areas.

In order to guarantee a greater success we are presently seeking new partners interested in joining such endeavours as this proposal is to be a multilateral project which will allow countries with a high level of expertise in the field to disseminate and train other individuals from member states without similar expertise. It should also serve a s a platform for observing, researching and developing good practices in the areas of accessibility.

Please Note that the Leonardo da Vinci - Tranfer of Innovation proposal must be submitted before 20.02.2011; we therefore request that any interested organisation, school, or association interested in joining in the partnership should contact the ELMA project office as soon as possible.
