23/02/2014 EU Infoday for Tourism Funding & Workshop on IT Tools for Tourism

20-21 March 2014, Brussels. The info day will focus on the most important EU programmes for the tourism sector, around practical questions. On 21 March a Workshop on IT tools for tourism will take place at the same venue.  

03/02/2014 “Day of Accessible Tourism” at the ITB Berlin 2014

Berlin, 7 March 2014. The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) will host the third annual “Day of Accessible Tourism” at ITB, aiming to raise awareness of the topic of accessible tourism and the economic opportunities it presents.

Lund, Sweden, 16 to 18 June 2014. This event will bring together a diverse group of practitioners and researchers in a broad conference that focuses on collectively exploring creative and desirable solution proposals that will shape the future of universal design products and practices.  

11/01/2014 4th Summer School in Tourism Management. Economic Impacts of Festivals and Events

Gozo, Malta, 29 July to 5 August 2014. The design and realization of events has become an important activity because it can accelerate the growth of European tourist destinations. OTIE - the Observatory on Tourism in the European Islands offers this course on the economic, social and environmental impacts of events.

09/01/2014 Zero Project Conference on Accessibility. Innovation for Persons with Disabilities

27 and 28 February 2013, Vienna, Austria. The Essl Foundation, the World Future Council and the European Foundation Centre have joined forces to convene an international conference to raise awareness about innovative solutions from around the world that advance accessibility for persons with disabilities.

06/12/2013 "Italy for All". Conference on the Promotion of Cultural Heritage for Accessible Tourism

6 December 2013. Rome, Italy. Best practices for accessibility to cultural heritage will be presented at this conference arranged by the Italian Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Directorate General for Promotion of Cultural Heritage.  

13/11/2013 1st MENA-ENAT (Euro-Arab) Accessible Tourism for All & Jordan Tourism 4 All Forum & Expo

11-13 December 2013, Aqaba, Jordan. (Note change of venue). ENAT & Jordan MICE in collaboration with the Jordan Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities, have lined up the 1st Forum & Expo for Euro-Arab cooperation for sustainable accessible destinations: Tourism for All.  

08/11/2013 EU Joint Conference: EU Day of People with Disabilities and European Tourism Day 2013

The European Commission - DG Justice and DG Enterprise and Industry – celebrate on 3 and 4 December 2013, the "European Day of Persons with Disabilities" and the "European Tourism Day" 2013 with the Joint Conference on “Accessible Tourism in Europe”.
