27/07/2011 Spain and UNWTO Organise 1st International Conference on Ethics and Tourism

Madrid, Spain. 15 to 16 September 2011. The Spanish General Secretariat of Tourism and Domestic Trade and the World Tourism Organization decided to jointly organize the First International Congress on Ethics and Tourism, inviting leading figures to participate as speakers. Also participating and providing support to this event are the Vice-Presidency of the European Commission and the Permanent Secretariat of the World Committee on Ethics in Tourism, along with high-level sponsors.

16 and 17 June 2011. Turin, Italy. Fondazione CRT, as member of the European Foundation Center, organizes an international meeting on Accessible Cities in collaboration with the Global Partnership for Disability and Development, the World Bank and the League of Accessible and Historical Cities.  

06/05/2011 Conference on Challenges and Opportunities for Local and Regional Authorities in Tourism for All

Östersund, Sweden. 26 and 27 May 2011. The International Social Tourism Organisation (ISTO) in partnership with the Jämtland Region is organising a conference on “Tourism for All” with B2B meetings and meetings between regions and organisations to discuss projects and possible partnerships.

Vancouver, Canada. 15 to 18 May 2012. Co-hosted by the Rick Hansen Foundation and the Rick Hansen Institute, Interdependence 2012 is an international four-day conference and exposition with a focus on creating accessible communities and furthering spinal cord injury (SCI) research for a cure.
