Pantou is the Greek word for Everywhere. This web service presents the Directory of suppliers of accessible tourism services in all European Union and Accession countries. It also includes suppliers such as travel agents and tour operators who provide accessible services for Europe-inbound customers. The Pantou Directory: makes it easier for tourists with any kind of access needs to find what they are looking for when planning a visit; promotes European accessible tourism suppliers, showing places to go and things to do – in safety and with convenience and comfort. Until now it has been difficult for a visitor with access needs to find out about the availability of suitable suppliers across Europe. Pantou has been developed by ENAT, EWORX S.A. and VVA to meet the need for a reliable and comprehensive pan-European guide to all kinds of tourism services that are currently offered for this market segment. Suppliers who are listed on Pantou provide a wide variety of tourism services, including accommodation, facilities, transport, tours, venues and attractions that are designed to be inclusive and accessible for people who have a disability, long-term health condition or other specific accessibility requirements. To be listed with Pantou, tourism suppliers must indicate the type of service(s) offered and the particular target groups they can serve. This initiative aims at not only generating awareness about the trials and tribulations of reduced mobility populace (that includes the elderly, expecting mothers, mothers with new born babies as well as toddlers and the physically challenged) but also mould public and policy makers opinion in favour of public private participation in providing and executing accessibility solutions.

URL: http://www.seatguru.com
SeatGuru.com was created to help fliers recognize and understand the differences between airline seats and in-flight amenities. The below guide provides tips to help you secure the best seat on your flight. Seat dimensions, pitch, position and facilities are indicated for airlines, plane types and seating configurations to help you pælan your journey for greatest comfort and convenience. In October 2001, frequent flyer Matthew Daimler launched SeatGuru.com with a single color-coded interactive airplane seating chart. Having experienced firsthand the vast differences between airline seats, he was determined to collect this useful information and share it with other travelers. Over ten million visitors later, SeatGuru has enjoyed incredible success and has expanded to include more than 700 airplane seatmaps from nearly 100 different airlines. In 2007, SeatGuru was purchased by TripAdvisor.com. Sharing the common goal of finding the truth from real travelers, SeatGuru and TripAdvisor work together to bring you the most up-to-date information about travel. 26/07/2010 Your Rights as a Passenger in Europe

URL: http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/passenger-rights/index_en.htm
Denied boarding? Cancellation? Long delay? Lost luggage? Reduced mobility? Over the last thirty years, there has been a boom in mobility in Europe. For millions of citizens travel has become a reality, indeed a right. Passengers need a common set of principles, so that they can be more easily aware of their rights if something goes wrong with their trip, regardless of the mode of transport they use or whether a journey takes place wholly within a single Member State or goes through an intra-Community or external frontier. In the light of this, the EU has committed itself to placing users at the heart of transport policy. (This page replaces the previous "Your Passenger Rights at Hand" campaign webpage).
