Findings of a study by TRL (Transport Research Laboratory) to assess UK aviation industry's compliance with the voluntary Code of Practice 'Access to Air Travel for Disabled People'.

This report details the findings of a study commissioned by the Department for Transport, to assess the effectiveness of the voluntary code of practice.
The code sets out minimum standards that should be met by airlines for aircraft design and service on board (which is not included in the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1995) and provides other service providers (including tour operators, travel agents, airports, ground handling companies, and retailers) with advice on how to meet their legal obligations under the DDA.
