Scandic extends its services with an electric scooter for guests to borrow at selected hotels in Sweden.
As part of Scandic's accessibility work, Scandinavia's largest hotel group is now offering mobility scooters for outdoor use to make the surroundings more accessible for oervnight guests with disabilities.
"The scooters are easy to manouvre. If you'd like to borrow a scooter simply ask at the reception and they will show you how to use it", declares the Scandic Webpage, where all the hotels that are offering scooters are listed and marked on a map of Sweden.
Borrowing a scooter is just one of the services Scandic provides to make a stay more comfortable for guests with disabilities.
New guest services
Twenty-nine hotels are now equipped with a mobile hoist. The hotels are listed on the Scandic Website.
Guests with service dogs can find an Online guide to dog-friendly parks near several Scandic hotels.
