Accessible Spanish Fam Trip for Egyptian Delegates

Accessible Madrid has recently organized an Accessible Fam Trip in Madrid for Egyptian delegates including The General Supervisor of the National Council for Disability Affairs, The Manager of the Health Quality Monitoring Unit - Sector of Tourism and Hotels (Ministry of Tourism) and ILO - International Labor Organization (Cairo Office) and Tour Operators.

Accessible Madrod Logo From 5-9 September, Accessible Madrid has organized a FAM TRIP for an Egyptian delegation. This Trip was mainly focused on Accessible Tourism.

An official delegation from the Egyptian government, The General Supervisor of the National Council for Disability Affairs, The Manager of the Health Quality Monitoring Unit - Sector of Tourism and Hotels (Ministry of Tourism) and ILO - International Labor Organization (Cairo Office) and Tour Operators, have visited Madrid, to learn all about accessible tourism in Spain.

The Egyptian Tour Operators were prize-winners who were recognised for their best practices in the first Egyptian Accessible Tourism Awards, 2016, organised by ILO Cairo Office with the support of ENAT. 

Tours, Training and New Initiatives

The aim of this trip was to show the Egyptian delegation what has been done so far in Spain in terms of accessible tourism.

Training sessions have been conducted. Visits to different adapted infrastructures have also been done, as well as the study of institutional marketing campaigns. The delegation visited different adapted facilities and explored public and private initiatives, etc.
