This meeting, organised by the European Commission and the Italian authorities, will focus on the supply side of Social Tourism, such as accommodation establishments (hotels, hostels, spas etc), travel agents and tour operators. The Programme will treat the four Calypso target groups (older people, disabled, youth, families) horizontally in each panel.

In so doing, the Commission is thus proposing a change in format since its intention is to go beyond the "awareness building" side and involve stakeholders in coming up with tangible solutions to facilitate low-season exchanges.

This meeting will substitute the one previously scheduled for Athens.
