Accessibility and Sustainability in Tourism. One-day Conference, Linz, Austria
20 November 2008. Linz, Austria. Experts from Austria and other European countries will present ideas and practical examples of sustainability and accessibility in tourism. The conference, which will be in the German language, will be of particular interest to tourism businesses, destination managers, public authorities and decision-makers, user organisations, experts and educators.
This one-day conference, on 20th of November 2008, is organised by IBFT-Infoplatform for Accessible Tourism, in collaboration with ENAT - The European Network for Accessible Tourism.
The conference will be held in the German language and takes place in the 'forte-Fortbildungszentrum der Elisabethinen' at A-4020 Linz, Museumstrasse 31.
Sustainability is a widely used concept in tourism - the concept of accessibility is becoming more and more important. Experts from Austria, Germany and other European countries will present the latest research and practical examples of how the tourism sector is addressing the challenges of both sustainability and accessibility. The conference will be of particular interest to travel and tourism businesses, destination manangers, public authorities and decision-makers, user organisations, experts and educators.
