Creating products and tourism offers adapted to all visitors leads to a more complete, accessible and inclusive tourist destination, with sustainable growth.

The team of the BRENDAIT Project, made up of Turismo do Centro de Portugal, the Hotel Association of Portugal, the Estoril School of Hospitality and Tourism, the European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT) and the company PERFIL, developed a methodology to create a network of accessible tourist services in the Central Region of Portugal.

On 2nd March, in the auditorium of the Coordination Commission of the Central Region, the results obtained and good practices will be revealed.

At the event, ENAT will also present the new Portuguese “Accessible Tourism Destination Handbook”, a guideline for destinations, commissioned by Turismo de Portugal.

International speakers will complete the line-up, demonstrating how accessibility in tourism is giving good returns on investments and showing examples of successful tourism products and services for this growing market.

The conference is organised by Turismo do Centro de Portugal, with the support of BRENDAIT project partners.

We especially welcome colleagues in the tourism sector, from businesses, attractions, municipalities, NGOs and educational institutions to this high profile event.
